Account Executive – Education
The role of an Account Executive entails managing a portfolio of education accounts with student populations of fewer than 2000 within a designated geographic area.
The base salary is $55,000-$65,000 and $70,000-$85,000 total.
The primary responsibilities of the Account Executive include the development of a strategic business plan aimed at driving device acquisition and meeting sales quotas for Software License and Maintenance (SLM) in their assigned territory. This role also encompasses day-to-day operations, involving tasks such as prospecting, account development, and pipeline management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prospecting and Converting Leads to New Accounts:
- Identify and target new accounts within the assigned region using a variety of prospecting methods.
- Convert leads into opportunities and successfully close deals that benefit both the client and our organization.
- Consistently seek opportunities for business growth by acquiring new clients.
2. Account Development to Drive Repeat Business:
- Foster trusted and enduring relationships with existing customers by actively engaging and maintaining visibility with them.
- Engage customers to understand their device refresh plans and specific needs.
- Provide quotes and close deals that are mutually beneficial, ensuring continued business with the client.
- Strive for customer retention and repeat business through excellent account management.
3. Proactive Pipeline Management in CRM:
- Proactively manage the sales pipeline within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Maintain an up-to-date and accurate view of the territory’s health, enabling precise forecasting and decision-making.
- Utilize a deep understanding of our product offerings to effectively respond to customer needs.
- Quote the right devices at competitive prices to secure deals.
- Ensure all deals in progress are well-defined and actively managed, contributing to accurate forecasting.
- Maintain complete and accurate customer data within the CRM.
- Monitor pipeline accuracy, including customer engagement, timelines, and reliable quoting.
