Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Representative role in Madison, WI.
They have been reinventing health benefits, making them easier and more affordable for employers, employees and individuals. We’re growing, and looking for an Outside Sales Representative. Outside Sales Representatives work on developing and selling new business products and services to prospective customers. After a sale, the Outside Sales Representatives will transition the member to an account manager for ongoing maintenance and service.
80% of the leads will be warm from the business development team.
The base salary is up to $110,000 and $160,000-$180,000 total with uncapped commissions.
This is a work from home role.
- Be responsible for development of new business accounts
- Source and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and through outbound prospecting
- Work to understand industries and market segments that align with products and services, company needs and requirements
- Offer guidance to prospects on appropriate products and services that offers its members
- Understand and execute sales strategy, identify new opportunities/leads, and generate sales reports
- Work independently and with members of a team. Most frequently this position will work with account managers and the Head of Sales, to whom this position reports
- Demonstrate commitment to our core competencies of being authentic, curious, creative and outcome oriented.
- 2-4 years of SaaS sales experience & proven track record of sales success
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Sales orientation, being tenacious and articulate toward goals
- A college degree
